Ronaldo Barbosa’s career is multifaceted, with drawing as his leading thread. In graphic design, he helped more than 200 companies to define their visual identities in his home state, Espírito Santo. In surface design, his creations vary from prints for fashion designers from Rio de Janeiro in the 1970s to tableware. Exhibition design for museums and centers for corporate memory are among his studio’s main activities, having designed projects for renowned institutions throughout Brazil. Since 1998 he has worked as director of Museu Vale in Vila Velha, which is today one of the main spaces for contemporary art in the country. He recently resumed his drawing and painting activities.
