About 500 everyday objects and 75 photographs formed an extensive panel of the saga of the colonization in the Southern states of Brazil, highlighting the design carried out by Italian and German immigrants from 1824 until early in the 20th Century. With curatorship of Calito de Azevedo Moura and Alfredo Aquino, the objects were selected from 3,500 pieces belonging to the Azevedo Moura Collection. Housewares, furniture, tools, pots, glasses, storage containers, carpentry and farming articles, personal items, ornaments, decorated house doors and toys were among the exhibits. Exhibition design by Tina and Lui Lo Pumo.
